Senior ASP.NET Developer with MVC

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior ASP.NET Developer with MVC expertise to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of hands-on experience in developing robust, high-performance web applications using ASP.NET, MVC, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, and other relevant technologies.
• Architect and Design: Architect efficient and scalable solutions based on project requirements and lead complex application design decisions.
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team, ensuring best practices and quality standards.
• Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices; perform unit testing and peer code reviews.
• Integration: Integrate web applications with various databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications and code.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience with ASP.NET, MVC (especially MVC 5 or later), and C#.
• Web Technologies: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap.
• Database Management: Proficiency in working with SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• ORM Tools: Experience with ORM tools such as Entity Framework.
• API Development: Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Cloud: Familiarity with cloud services (preferably Azure) and experience with application deployment.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
