We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and integrity of enterprise Salesforce implementations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with clients in regulated sectors such as BFSI and Healthcare and must be comfortable operating as an independent contributor with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including onsite stakeholders when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of Salesforce applications including UI, functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Provar, or similar.
- Analyze user stories, business requirements, and functional specifications to derive comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
- Maintain and optimize test plans, test cases, and test data for both manual and automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Ensure test coverage for all key Salesforce components: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Workflows, Process Builders, Apex Triggers, and custom features.
- Support UAT cycles and provide testing feedback and test summary reports to stakeholders.
- Interact with onsite QA leads, BAs, and developers to align QA deliverables and timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce QA, with solid exposure to both manual and automated testing.
- Proven experience in testing for enterprise clients in sectors such as Banking, Financial Services (BFSI), and Healthcare.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, objects, workflows, and integrations.
- Proficient in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Provar, or similar.
- Expertise in test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, Zephyr, or HP ALM.
- Ability to independently handle end-to-end QA cycles and collaborate with distributed teams.
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB Certification or Salesforce QA Trailhead modules.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab.
