We are seeking a highly capable Salesforce Developer with expertise in Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud) and a minimum of 6 years of Salesforce development experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions independently, directly interacting with clients, gathering requirements, and ensuring successful implementation.
This is a client-facing, hands-on technical role that requires deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and the ability to lead solution development for customer-facing portals and partner communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within Salesforce Experience Cloud.
- Gather and analyze business requirements directly from clients and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Build and customize Experience Cloud sites, including Lightning components (Aura & LWC), themes, and templates.
- Implement robust user access, sharing, and security models tailored to portal use cases.
- Integrate external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, and manage data flows via Apex, Flows, and Process Builder.
- Develop and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
- Ensure all deliverables meet Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on solution design, provide estimations, and proactively manage project milestones.
- Independently manage project deliverables, timelines, and client expectations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud development and customization.
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, and SOQL.
- Experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform integrations.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage direct client interactions.
- Strong understanding of portal security, user access models, and public/private community configurations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications such as:
- Platform Developer I/II
- Experience Cloud Consultant (preferred)
- Experience with Content Management, Knowledge Articles, and CMS Connect.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, version control, and Agile development practices.
